Fees for Art Gallery members are calculated on a sliding
scale based on the total of the institution's annual recurring
operating expenditures in the last completed fiscal year.
This figure includes annual programming expenditures; it does
not include once-only capital expenses, funds spent on acquisitions,
fundraising expenses, or the cost of goods sold if you engage
in retail activities.
Under Bylaw 2.04, the Board of Directors approved a revised
fee schedule on January 22, 2008, replacing a fee schedule that had been in effect since 2007. Fees
for membership will now rise according to the provincial rate of inflation for the preceding year. The
provincial rate of inflation for 2007 was 1.8%.
